Great place to visit if you're going to Los Angeles

If you're going to be in Los Angeles for a few days and want a bit of Roman/Grecian art and culture look no further than the Getty Villa on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.  You need to book in advance but entrance is free .. all you pay for is car parking for $15.

Allow yourself at least a couple of hours and spend time looking around the villa and gardens, grab a coffee or a bite to eat at the restaurant and soak up the sunshine all at the same time!  It's also worth taking one of the free tours ... first come first served basis.  They include daily architecture and garden tours, plus a variety of specialist tours on specific days.  All exhibitions and tours are free and well worth spending a morning or afternoon there.
